Pehli pehal hai us di jag te jis pehlan pehchan lea ey;
Is ik de naal ikmik hoke ehde rang nun maan lea ey. Ik eh karta jaanan wala dooje de val janda nahin; Mannda nahin oh marhi masanan mandarin sees jhukanda nahin. Is nun samjhe aal duaale ik di karda deed peaa ey; Kahe avtar rahe khush har dam waqt mananda ead reha ey. |

That person shall command the first position in the world, who has realized God as his first task;
And uniting himself with this One, he has enjoyed the divine color. The one who knows this One, the Creator, he does not look towards anyone else; He does not worship graves and funeral places, he does not bow his head in temples. He realizes the presence of the One all around, and he beholds the One everywhere; Avtar says, he is always happy, he celebrates Eid all the time. |
Meaning
Person, who knows Him, stays happy throughout. A person gains importance or success in the world, who realizes God, and keeps Him in front for any task. He unites himself with this One and enjoys the divine color. The one who knows the Creator, he does not look towards anyone else. He does not worship graves and funeral places; he does not bow his head in temples. He realizes the presence of the One all around, and he beholds the One everywhere. Baba Avtar Singh ji says, he is always happy; he celebrates Eid all the time.
